The family of health boards has been designed with communal dining in mind. Made from Sustainably Sourced American Maple hardwood which is a superior material for chopping boards, holding up to cuts, and resisting moisture. The brass handle is both practical and pleasing. The boards are a beautiful backdrop for serving food for any occasion or simply for chopping food in the kitchen. Dimensions: 60x12x2cm Please note the handle will add 9 cm to the length of the boards listed.
CARE INFORMATION
Our Heath boards are pre-treated with food-safe mineral oil, so you can start using them straight away. To maintain its condition and prevent splitting, we recommend oiling the board regularly with mineral oil or any kitchen oil (please note that strongly coloured oils might discolour the wood). The board will feel dry to touch and will get lighter in colour when it needs oiling. Wood can split when the air is really dry, and central heating will dry the air out. It is best to keep the relative air humidity levels in your house between 40-50%. This will not only ensure the longevity of wooden products but will also be beneficial to your health. Keeping the air humidity at an optimal level will improve your breathing and sleep quality.
