Bernadinho is a third generation master woodcarver and makes all of wood trays and stools out of Portuguese chestnut wood. Working in wood is a family tradition he's justifiably proud of - his father was renowned for carving the intricate decorative yokes worn by oxen in local parades.

To clean all carved wood pieces, please wipe with a damp cloth. Do not submerge in water. Trays can be occasionally oiled with food-grade mineral oil to help protect the piece. All pieces are lightly finished with a water-based matte varnish. If using for food service, please note that some oily products may stain and mark the wood.
